A Message from The Chairman

Chairman of Enyimba Int'l FC, Felix Anyansi Agwu has urged companies operating in and outside the country to take advantage of partnership opportunities with Enyimba after the club's successful unveiling of their new Joma kits.

Mr. Anyansi Agwu stated that the potentials of such a strategic partnership is huge, owing to Enyimba's vast popularity and immense appeal.

"Partnering with a club like Enyimba would give you a competitive edge. Our kit sponsorship deal with Joma Sports of Spain is a reflection of our international acceptance and appeal and I'm confident that we as a club, have what it takes to sell any business," he said.

Enyimba have had an impressive run in this year's Champions League and are all but through to the group stage after Sunday's thrilling 5-1 win over Club Africain and Anyansi Agwu says the timing couldn't be better to partner with Africa's great.

"With this Joma deal, we have re-strenghtened our position as a leading force in Nigerian football and it would be an ideal partnership at this time, due to our current form on the continent.

"We have built a reputation of success in recent times, winning the CAF Champions League back to back in 2003 and 2004 as well as the Nigerian Premier League a record five times since 2001 and this has greatly contributed to our reputation as one of the most successful football clubs in Africa.

"I am very confident that whoever partners with us will ultimately achieve great results. There couldn't be a better platform to get your product or company to such a massive audience. Our millions of fans in Nigeria, in Africa and beyond and their following of our every game is remarkable.

"From our local league matches, to our games on the continent which will be broadcast live around Africa, to our website, no one would go wrong with a deal with Enyimba.

Anyansi further added the club's stadium during local matches record sell-out crowds and that the number is doubled when the club play Champions League games. He also commented on the official website of the club (www.enyimbafc.net), saying that that too, records a large number of daily visitors and would provide a new and dynamic angle for any business.

"These new kits of ours should not go unbranded by sponsors and I urge all to make the most of these current happenings in the club. We have had sponsorship deals in the past and have the experience to take any brand and sell it on the world scene," Anyansi concluded.

Mr. Felix Agwu who had earlier praised his side for their impressive showing said the victory was a testament of the good things to come with the Joma kit deal and future prospective sponsorship packages with Africa's club of the moment.

This kit sponsorship deal between Joma and Enyimba is the first time a European company is partnering with a football club in Nigeria and a lot of people have praised the club for yet another milestone recorded in Nigerian football.
