The burial arrangements of Late Mrs. Rose Ekweronu, the mother of Enyimba's Team Manager have been announced.

In a letter released to EnyimbaFC.net, the remains of the late Chief Mrs. Rose Odawayi Ekweronu of Umuopara-Ozara Olokoro in Umuahia South Local Government Area of Abia State will be laid to rest on Monday, August 2nd.

Chief Mrs. Ekweronu passed away after a brief illness on Saturday, July 17 2010 at the age of 77.

The Chairman of Enyimba, Felix Anyansi Agwu on behalf of the entire management, staff and players of Enyimba Int'l FC had expressed sadness at the passing of Mrs. Ekweronu in a message of condolence sent to the Ekweronu family.

In the statement, Anyansi said news of the death of their mother had been received with great shock and grief. He added that she had lived an exemplary life and urged the family to take solace in the fact that she has gone to be in the Lord's bosom.

Monday, August 2nd, 2010

8:00 am: Body leaves Expressway Medical Centre, Mgbarakaimi Ubakala.

8:30 - 9:00 am: Lying in state.

10:00 am: Church service at Holy Cross Parish Olokoro.

12:30 pm: Interment.

She is survived by 6 children, 21 grand-children and 2 great grand-children.
