Enyimba's Technical Adviser, Okey Emodi believes his side deserve to lift the league title after working hard all season long.

Emodi has marked his return to Enyimba with yet another Premier League crown after his success with the club in 2004 when he helped the club retain the CAF Champions League and in 2005 when he led the club to its fourth league title.

Appointed in September 2009 after his departure in the 2005/2006 league season, Emodi has lived up to his reputation as a master tactician with Wednesday's 2-1 win over Kano Pillars which saw the club lift the trophy for a record sixth time.

Speaking exclusively to EnyimbaFC.net, Emodi said his team had worked hard all season long and deserved to win.

"Throughout this season, we have worked hard to make sure things move positively for us. Our aspiration has been to succeed and what has happened here in Aba is a reflection of all that hardwork," Emodi stated.

On why Enyimba is the club where he has found the most success, Emodi disclosed that a sound management team, led by Chief Anyansi Agwu added to a cooperative technical crew is the force behind the team's success.

He also attributed success in Enyimba to the talented players in the squad who are committed to the team's philosophy of hardwork.

Emodi was quick to further emphasize the huge impact of the supportive Aba fans who have made everything possible.

Amidst rising expectations that the Elephants are gunning for a treble, Emodi who is currently guarding Enyimba to a continental cup glory, five years after he led the Aba club to successfully defend the CAF Champions League trophy, said with God, nothing is impossible.

"Like I said, our aspiration here in Enyimba is to succeed in whatever competition we engage in. God willing, we can achieve a treble but we are not getting beyond ourselves just yet, we are taking it one game at a time.

"For now, we have just won the league, we have a game with Zanaco in the Confederations Cup and a semi-final tie in the Federation Cup so yes, anything is possible with God."
