Nigerian champions Enyimba will begin their bid for a third CAF Champions League title away to Ugandan champions Vipers SC in February 2016.

The draws for the 2016 CAF Champions League preliminary rounds took place on Friday in Dakar, with the Peoples’ Elephant entering at the first qualifying round as one of Nigeria’s two flagbearers.

Enyimba will face Vipers SC in Bukiwe in the first leg on the weekend of 12-14 February, before welcoming Edward Golola’s side to the Enyimba International Stadium in Aba a fortnight later.

The winner of this tie will progress to the next qualifying round to face either Lioli FC of Lesotho or Burundian champions Vital’O in March.
