The Club
Unarguably Nigeria's most successful football club of all time, Enyimba Int'l FC has earned the reputation as one of Africa's football powerhouses.
With two CAF Champions League Trophies and six Nigeria Premier Leagues titles, the club is currently ranked 2nd in the CAF Club Rankings.
Our History

Enyimba Int’l Football Club was founded as a state-owned club in November 1976 in the newly established Imo State. In August 1991 Imo State was divided further and the state, Abia was created from the part which included the city of Aba, Enyimba's hometown, so the new state's government took over as owners of The Club.
Enyimba was a part of the Professional League inaugurated in 1990 but it wasn’t until 2001 that the club’s rise to fame began.
The club is not among Nigeria's oldest clubs, but the fact that they are the only side from Africa's most populous country to have claimed Africa's top club prize gives them a unique status in a football-loving country.
The team emerged from near anonymity to end Nigeria's four-decade wait for success in the CAF Champions League. It took only ten years for Enyimba to transform itself from a modest provincial outfit into a continental champion, a remarkable and powerful rise.
Enyimba is now the most successful club of all time in Nigeria and among the feared clubs in Africa. Their back-to-back successes in the CAF Champions League in 2003 and 2004 marked the first time a team had managed to successfully defend the title in over 30 years. In 2011, they made it to the semi-finals of the tournament again, after reaching the same stage in 2008.
With over 90 million fans worldwide and tens of thousands of people visiting its website (www.enyimbafc.net), Enyimba is a major football powerhouse that is well equipped to bring significant success to any sponsor or partner.
